Techne: WebGPU LLM Navigation
I’d be demoing Techne – which is a browser extension that helps people navigate Hacker News. The extension is available publicly here for anyone to install on their Chrome: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/techne/jnkdiblpblpgaceaonbnkolmnmhbllim
Recently, I have been leveraging WebGPU to power the personalization capabilities of this extension. However, those features are not available in the public build yet due to several technical challenges I have faced. I presented an earlier version of this effort at the AT Tinkerers last month and received some good feedback – I have built some more since and am hoping to share the journey with tinkerers in SF!
