Real-time Data Build Night with Bright Data

Join us for an informal build night on May 13th hosted by AI Tinkerers SF, in partnership with Bright Data and OpenRouter.

Most AI systems still run on stale, cached knowledge. The builders pushing the frontier are the ones wiring their agents into the live web: search results as they change, prices as they move, sentiment as it shifts, inventory as it turns over. This build night is about closing that gap - giving your agents eyes on the world as it happens.

Bring your laptop and something you’ve been itching to hack on. We’ll spread out, build for a few hours, and end with anyone who wants to demo showing off what they made that night.

What We’re Building

The theme is real-time data for AI - agents, apps, and workflows that react to the world as it changes, not as it was last year. A few directions to get you started:

• Live search agents: Agents that ground every answer in fresh, sourced web results instead of training-data memory.
• Market & competitive intel: Pipelines that watch pricing, listings, reviews, or job boards and surface signal the moment it appears.
• Event-driven workflows: Triggers wired to real-world changes - news, releases, filings, social - that fire actions downstream.
• Multimodal scraping for agents: Turning pages, PDFs, images, and structured data into tool calls your agent can actually use.

Bright Data engineers will be on-site to help you wire up their MCP server, web unlocker, SERP API, and dataset APIs - whatever you need to get unblocked and building fast.

Schedule

• 5:30 PM - Doors open, food and beverage available
• 6:00 PM - Opening announcements + Bright Data intro
• 6:15 PM - Spread out and start hacking
• 9:00 PM - Demos (optional - grab the mic if you built something)
• 9:30 PM - Venue closes

Format

This is an informal build session - no tracks, no judges, no pressure. Get together, build cool things for a few hours based on the theme, and at the end anyone who wants to can get up and show off what they made that night. You’ll have 2-5 minutes to share depending on headcount, plus 2 minutes for questions.

Curation & Entry

AI Tinkerers is selective by design. This event is for active builders - engineers, researchers, and technical founders - who are shipping code. We require technical context (LinkedIn, GitHub, or Twitter) during registration to maintain a high-trust, builder-only room.

Space is limited to 150 participants. SF events consistently hit capacity and go to waitlist fast - confirm your spot early.
