Head of Growth at Dench(YC S24)
Everything. Solo project. Responsible for full product vision, agent architecture
design, and implementation. Built the 4-worker LangGraph agent pipeline (museum fetcher,
palette extractor, component generator, animation generator) and the boss orchestrator agent.
Designed the art movement classification system with 8 locked movements and curated MET
artwork datasets. Wired CopilotKit canvas with 6 streaming card actions (movement, artwork,
palette, animation, component, status). Configured TokenRouter as the AI gateway replacing
direct model API calls. Used LangSmith for agent trace debugging. Wrote the full AGENTS.md
spec and design-guidance system (anti-slop rules, animation rules, typography scale)
distilled from impeccable and taste-skill design frameworks.
Alice Chen is Head of Growth at Dench(YC S24). She previously worked at Founders, Inc. as a Canopy Fellow. Alice has 6 years of experience and studied at the University of Washington, AnimSchool, University of Amsterdam, and Tsinghua University.
Currently a Canopy Fellow at Founders, Inc. building Animini and Animclaw, sketch-to-animation tools using Blender/Maya scripting and frontend stacks. Also serving as Head of Growth at Dench (YC S24) and previously deployed an animation-error-check web tool on Render.
